Welcome to the Firearms and deadly force blog. I will be sharing the latest information on deadly force incidents and breaking them down on why they were or were not justified and what can be done to improve our knowledge to reduce unjustified incidents.


You will learn when deadly force is legal so that ou have a solid foundation to assess a situation and make the right decision should you be forced to make that judgement. Shooting is easy, the complicated task of being legally justified is the most challenging and life-changing action you will ever undertake. We'll talk about what you should consider carrying and why and this will all be from the retired police officer's perspective. We will bust a lot of myths which are very prevelant today in the public and media. I welcome the opionion oi other experts in the field to join us on the journey to educate others to understand
